During the earthquake in Gujarat with the Sahara Gram Project the Sahara emotionally adopted village and provided unconditional support to the victims. With the Mega Rehabilitation Project, Sahara continued its patronage by reconstructing the homes for 839 families. The group was even active in Kutch and other earthquake prone areas for rehabilitation of the affected ones.
